I’m not sure how they got here, but they won’t leave, and the only thing they say is

… I’m ok with it though because I ask “why” a lot too!

So we decided to team up to ask weird questions, and find weird answers!
(they’re pretty good with visual cues, so I think they understand the plan?)

Who is The Whylings For?

The Whylings is for nosy creatives and generally curious people… Maybe you’re developing your artistic skills, or want to start. Or you just enjoy learning things through silly comics!

More specifically:

• Self-taught or aspiring artists and illustrators who appreciate tips from someone on the same journey.

• Designers and visual creatives who want digestible, practical tips/insights wrapped in a quick and graphic-lead format.

• Curious people in general… The type who can’t help but wonder why things work the way they do, whether it’s a design quirk, a tech tool, or a cat squeezing into a box.

The Whylings is a goofy, humorous comic that shares helpful tips, bits, and bobs about illustration, design, and art. As a self-taught artist, illustrator, and author, I want to offer all the things I pick up as I develop my creative career, and continue to learn alongside all of you! I also love to geek-out on random things that make us curious in everyday life, tech and nature!
