WHY Saturday Morning Fun Facts?

As a kid, I was a BIG fan of Saturday morning cartoons… So much so that I would wake up super early on weekdays (in the 4-5am range) in order to squeeze in some extra episodes on school days.

I loved everything about the little tradition I made. Like how on winter mornings when the sun rises later, the room filled with that weird artificial TV glow…There’s something about that ~ambient lighting~ along with a cozy blanket that is just too good.

Or when the second person in the house (usually my dad) wakes up, and joins in on the watch party? Ah! The best! I just loved every second.

But I think what made this so special, was that it started my day with a good laugh. And in today’s world, I really miss that.

SO ANYWAY: Fun Facts.

Fun facts (especially about animals) are another thing that tend to give me the same laughs and imagination-fuel that morning cartoons did. So, I figured it could be a cool combo to try out on The Whylings.

Without further ado, Saturday Morning Fun Facts!

Anything to make a fart joke, right? But to be more specific in regards to this fact: G.H. Owls technically DO have a sense of smell, it’s ridiculously limited. But these guys don’t really need a good sense of smell to hunt, since they’re usually eyesight and hearing to find prey as they fly.

When I first read this fact, I was honestly underwhelmed… A rabbit jumping? And? BUT THEN I THOUGHT ABOUT HOW HIGH 21 FEET IS. THAT’S LIKE 4 OF ME???? Safe to say I really like this fact now.
